The Resort On Cocoa Beach
It may be raining, but that doesn't mean you can't enjoy your visit to Florida's Space Coast. We've put together a list of "Rainy Day Activities" to help you have a good time despite the weather. (Don't forget to pick up a "SEE Space Coast" magazine with maps and phone numbers of many things listed here.
Right here at the Resort -
Enjoy our Game Room (Featuring Arcade Games and Pool Tables), Video Rental Center, Exercise Room, Book Exchange and Movie Theater. If you're going to get wet anyway, why not enjoy the Resort's heated pool.
Malls and Shopping -
Approximately 15 minutes away is the Merritt Square Mall (452-2054), approximately 40 minutes south is the Melbourne Square Mall (727-2000). In Orlando you'll find Belz Outlet World (407-352-9611). The Huge Florida Mall (407-582-9201) and the new upscale Mall at Millennia (407-363-3555) and Festival Bay Mall (407-351-7718) which includes Van's Indoor Skate Park. Also, don't miss quaint, Historic Cocoa Village (433-0392) but bring an umbrella for this one.
Take in a movie -
There are several Movie Theaters within 15-45 minutes of the Resort. See our local "Florida Today" paper for movie Listings and Show Times. Also, Blockbuster Video (783-8087) is across the street from the Resort on the corner of the Publix Shopping Center.
Video Arcade -
15 minutes north of the Resort you'll find TRAXX @ Jungle Village (783-0595) which features a huge Indoor Arcade, Extreme Laser Tag and much more.
Museums -
The Brevard Museum of History and Science (632-1830). The Brevard Museum of History and Natural Science (632-1920) The Brevard Veterans Center which includes a Memorial Museum & Military Museum (453-1776). The Ruth Cote Clemente Children's Science Theater (254-7782). The Valiant Air Command War Bird Air Museum (268-1941) and The Brevard Community college Planetarium & Observatory (433-7373).
Performing Arts -
The Brevard Symphony Orchestra (242-2024). The Henegar Center for the Arts (723-8698). Cocoa Village Playhouse (636-5050). The King Center for the Performing Arts (242-2219). And The Surfside Playhouse (783-3127).
Casino Gambling -
We have two casino ships sailing from Port Canaveral, twice daily. Sun Cruz Casino and Sterling Casino Lines. Free boarding and Free cocktails while gaming (must be 21 years of age). Both casino boats pick
up from the resort twice daily.
Art Galleries -

Pamper Yourself -
Visit Massage by Morakot (across the street in the Publix Shopping Center) 784-2208, or the Heartrest Health Center (456-5080)
Libraries and Bookstores-
Both the Cocoa Beach Public Library (868-1104) and Cape Canaveral Public Library (868-1101) are only minutes away from the Resort. You'll find Books-A-Million located in the Merritt Square Mall. The Barnes and Noble bookstore is located across the Mall.
Skating -
Try a sport that's not usually associated with Florida and enjoy ice skating at The Space Coast Ice Plex (504-7500).
Bowling -
Shore Lanes on Merritt Island (452-8880), Space Bowl (636-0808) and Satellite Beach Lanes (773-3558) are located about 20 minutes from the Resort.
