Merritt Island Wildlife Refuge Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge | U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service (fws.gov) 321-861-0667 (Scrub Jay Way, Titusville, 32781) – The wildlife and habitat vision for national wildlife refuges stresses that wildlife come first. Stop by the Visitor Information Center (open Tues-Sat, 9-4) for a map. The best place to see wildlife is the seven-mile Black Point Wildlife Drive ($10 per car). There is also a Manatee Observation Deck, birding towers, and nature trails.
